A four year formal education is not for everyone. Some four year degrees may prove to be useless in today’s job market. In Charleston and throughout the country there is a huge demand for tradesmen, especially plumbers.
If there is one thing 2020 should have taught every high school age student, it is that the essential career workers never stopped working and earning a living in 2020. Every young person should take a good look at all of the trades and consider what they have to offer. Instead of going into debt to get a college degree maybe you would like to get paid while you learn plumbing or another useful trade.
Plumbing is the highest paid of all the trades. Right now there is a shortage of good plumbers and an even greater shortage of young people entering into the trade.
If you are interested in exploring what a career in plumbing has to offer please come on by and talk. I am always interested in talking to young people. I spent 17 years teaching high school. I have now been in the trades for 15 years.
If you are interested in an apprenticeship, download the application below and email it to us.
